“Strategy and Future” organizes the “Happiness and Positivity” workshop at Umm al-Quwain and Ajman

Strategy and Future Department in Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship organized two workshops on happiness and positivity for ICA’s employees in the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Umm al-Quwain and Ajman, to learn them about the important role of such two values in improving the work environment and motivating the employees to develop their performance to contribute to improving the services provided by ICA

The workshop, presented by Khawla Al Tayer, Director of Strategy and Future Department at the General Directorate of Identity, aimed at learning about the importance of positive energy applications among ICA’s employees and its impacts on improving their job performance in a manner that contributes to improving the quality of the operations and services provided to achieve the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Al Tayer explained to the audience the concept of happiness and its impact on the individuals in public life and at the workplace. She also reviewed the most important methods to enhance the positive energy and self-motivation and informing them about how to maintain a sense of happiness and optimism, which contributes to their success on the personal and career levels.

Al Tayer presented some advice that a positive person should enjoy, such as being active all the time, possessing control, communicating with people, owning the faculty of challenge, and avoiding unhealthy habits, being proactive and work smart, always thinking about developing the positive attitudes, and getting rid of negativity and to balance his rights and duties.

 

The participants in the workshop listened to an explanation about the “Innovative Ideas Bank” system, which ICA makes it available to its employees and customers via its website to enable them to present their ideas and suggestions. She confirmed that the ideas and suggestions are being dealt with efficiently according to a documented approach and are studied and discussed accurately, then following up the implementation of such useful ideas and suggestions under the supervision of specialized trained cadres.
