“Executive Board of Nationality” Instructs to Develop the Customer Happiness Center with (7-Star) Standards

The Executive Board of General Directorate of Nationality at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship confirmed the importance of promoting the services provided in all Directorate’s centers in line with the vision of the wise leadership that UAE should be in the forefront of the world regarding the level of government services, and the directions of the government that the happiness of the citizen shall be the pillars of all government projects and initiatives.

 

The Board directed, during its seventh meeting in 2019, to focus on the development of the customer happiness centers in accordance with the standards of the Emirates Government Services Excellence Program and Global Star Rating System for Services (7 stars) to make such centers a role model regarding in serving and granting happiness to the citizen.

 

HH Brigadier General Suhail Gomaa Al Kahili, Deputy Director-General of Nationality, was briefed about the work plan and schedule to achieve the program requirements. He stressed the necessity of following up the execution of the Board resolutions by the Regional Directors of Departments and ensuring the measurement of performance in accordance with accurate indicators, to ensure achieving the intended goals in accordance with the best efficiency and effectiveness standards.

 

The Board listened to a presentation by Nasser Al Abdouli, Executive Director of Happiness and Quality of Life and Director of Service Centers Support Department in the General Directorate of Identity, on the experience of ICA in providing services to customers and granting them happiness, in addition to the initiatives adopted in such field. The matter which contributed to enabling ICA to accomplish achievements that helped directly in promoting its position and competitiveness among all service sectors across the State.

 

Major Hamdan Al Rashidi, Head of the Governance section in the General Directorate of Nationality, presented a presentation on the record of risks and their handling mechanism. During the meeting, the Board discussed other subjects listed on its work plan and took the proper resolutions.
