Brigadier Suhail Juma Al Khaili, ICA’s Acting Director-General of Nationality, emphasized that Zayed Humanitarian workday is an intimate occasion for all those living in UAE, the Emirates of blessing and happiness. This occasion is named after the founder of the State and the leader of its development, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan. He is considered a symbol of limitless nobility and giving, who instilled good values all over the world and whose humanitarian achievements encompassed all the aspects of life.
Al Khaili said that regardless of tongues and dialects, all are singing the praises of Zayed and his sons, especially UAE President, H. E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They followed their father’s footsteps: aiding the poor and helping the needy. Everybody from all races and religions now looks up to them as icons of charity, generosity, and giving.
In a statement on Zayed Humanitarian workday, which is celebrated in UAE on 19 Ramadan of every year, Al Khaili said that celebrating this day is a national duty. Anyone who has been blessed with happiness, safety, security, serenity, and stability in this kind country should commemorate the late Sheikh Zayed. This is to express gratitude for his role in building the UAE magnanimity path, take pride in his legacy and extraordinary humanitarian sense, and boast his sublime values that have been engraved in the hearts of UAE sons and daughters.
